Hi Rob and Dave. Just listened to the latest hot take, and unless I missed it, you didn’t mention the new UNIT scientific advisor. When I saw the initial casting announcement about the child genius character, I thought it screamed Disney like nothing else. Having seen the character confirms what I expected – a total pain in the arse. Overall opinion of this season is that while it’s probably not the worst of the modern series, it is definitely the most disappointing given all the hype. Regards, Dave.
Hi Dave, that’s right, we didn’t mention him. There’s only so many things we can talk about in the 30 minute format, and we just follow what we’re interested in talking about. So although I can’t speak for Dave, I assume he didn’t find the character too interesting and worthy of talking about. I know I didn’t. Will he get a guernsey when we do the season wrap? Maybe, maybe not. I’d err on not. We’re running to a schedule there, too. – Rob
